SC P-600 ink cartridge - label

Dear All,

As on the picture visible, on one side of the cartridge is a label (indicating to not remove the label), what’s the ‘purpose’ of this label? I was thinking to remove this label so that during visually checking of the ink-level this label will not block the light. So what will be the effect if the label is removed (althought you’re not supposed to remove the label).

There are some thin lines of pressure film that the label goes over so you really don’t want to remove it.

A close light is good enough to illuminate the level.
