Red River Aurora White Profile

I have been printing with my Epson P6000 Piezography Pro Ink set for years. I have profiled several gloss and matte papers and all of them are printing just fine.

I’m trying to profile the Red River Aurora Art White 300. When I print the 52 Step ColorMunki target is where I’m having issues. I have tried several different paper profiles and get the same results. After the 4th or 5th black step the ink does not seem to cover the step with a solid color. When I print on Canson Arches 88 paper all is good. I have tried to increase the density in the Print Tool setting, but still have same issue. I can see the same issue if i print an image. When i look through a loop I can the that some areas dont have ink. Any idea how to resolve.

Hi John,

Please take a photo of the target so I can see what you are seeing.

Please print the inksep target in QTR Calibration Mode on the same paper and send a photo. You will find inseparation8.tif in QuadToneRIP / CurveDesign / Images. Print it with No Color Management.

This way I can learn more about the ink or inks that are not printing as expected.
