How do you deal with the star-wheels on an Epson 4880 to prevent scratches? I see information on the 3880 but not the 4880. I remember Walker saying something about it being easier on the 4880 than 3880 in class.
On this printer:
When the paper is coming out of the printer the star-wheels drop down when they are “needed”.
When this happens simply use your hand to push them back up into their holding position. They won’t come down again.
Also, front-feed the paper.
