Problem with Windows Colorpicker export: no csv

Hello. I’m trying to understand the process for linearizing curves for new papers using ColorMunki. I haven’t been able to find the Mac version of ColorMunki Photo, so I’m using the Windows version found in the CD. I take measurements with ColorPicker, then place these measurements in an empty palette, and then try to export this palette, but the CSV export option isn’t available (cxd, aco, ase, colors, qcl are available). Have I missed something, or is the Windows version of ColorPicker unusable? Thank you very much for your help. Michael

Michael,

ColorMunki is a discontinued product. Its hardware is both OS X and Win compatible. Unfortunately xRite has transferred this product support to a company called Calibrite. Whereas most xRite Spectro software from the 2010s is still being offered on the xRite site (such as for i1) all color munki legacy software is now supported by Calibrite. You will need check with them to see if you can get legacy software or if their new package Calibrite Profiler is compatible or and allows export of data. If not - you need try and get software from one of our members who is still running it. It looks like Calibrite intends to support Intel based Mac after Apple drops support in the coming months. Obviously it is becoming more important than ever for folks to retain some legacy hardware and software if they need to do any professional level calibration with legacy systems.

Yes, that’s what I was afraid of… If anyone here would like to share this old software with me, I would be very grateful! In the meantime, I’ll extract the LAB values manually.

Thank you!
