Print Head moving after print has finished

Latitude Chicago’s first official post here, hooray!

We’ve just noticed that when making a print that takes up only say 4x3 on a letter size sheet, that the print head continues to move back and forth even when the ink/image has finished printing.

The printer has not been reclothed with all covers since Walker’s workshop here last month. My theory is that this has something to do with one of the sensors that is being tricked from covers being opened for repairs, etc.

If we put all covers back on will this be corrected, or could it be something else?

Is the LLK channel zeroed out? It should not be printing gloss optimizer but maybe it is.
