Tried to install the latest PiezoDN on Catalina but got the following error:

It’s not an error. Go to Sys Prefs, go to Security, click Open Anyway.

Did you get an option to bypass it on this Preference page?
Note: This screenshot is from Mojave, but I’ve been experimenting with Big Sur a bit and had to reinstall everything related to Piezography and QTR along with some other stuff. Not sure if I’ve seen that particular message about “suspicious software” but so far everything could be installed via an “open anyway” option from the Security page.
If your computer so new within the last 2-3 years and has the T2 security chip there may be more to it. Somewhere I’ve seen instructions for temporarily disabling security features to allow software installation but wasn’t looking for that so didn’t really pay attention. Sorry for that (if it’s even relevant), but someone here will know what I’m talking about.
