Piezo on Silver with Multigrade Paper

When printing piezo negs on multigrade silver paper, is there an ideal contrast grade to work with?

When I first tested PiezoDN and silver I printed with a #2 filter. But having time to think I believe printing on a 00 filter/contrast-grade is best because this allows for slightly smoother tones (less grain) because you’re able to print with more ink shades.

Yeah, I was thinking that lower contrast would place it in a tonal response range more similar to the alt processes that most of the curves already work so well with.

Interesting day in the darkroom… at the exposures needed to achieve DMax on the step wedge, the contrast grades had significant impact on the image. Check them out…
