Are Epson and Piezo inks compatible? For example if I wanted to have a K7 set as well as some Epson inks for toning purposes and use QTR and PPE v2 for curve creation, would this work in theory? Obviously it would affect the potential print longevity, but was just curious if it was possible and if anyone has tried it. Walker - was this a bit like what you were working with before PiezoPro?
They are compatible with each other. Both are encapsulated pigments. We specifically formulate all of our inks to not have bad interactions with Epson ink in the lines and dampers, etc. This extends to the printed surface as well.
