Greetings!
I installed Mac OS X 15.1 Sequoia on my secondary machine.
All the Piezography components are running smoothly, as is iProfiler.
Apple has tightened up its security protocols, and their “Gatekeeper” does not permit an easy override when installing new curves. Previously, when double-clicking the “Install.command” and the curves did not install due to a permissions issue, one could startup the Terminal, and run the following command:
sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Printers/QTR/quadtone
then enter the user password and run the printer curve installer command again.
With Sequoia, you may see a warning dialogue when double-clicking on the printer curve installer command. Do this:
- After receiving the warning, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
- Go to Security, where you will see the file you just tried to open
- Click Open Anyway. This button is available for about an hour after you try to open the app.
- Enter your login password, then click OK.
The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it, just as you can for any authorized app.
I may update this post with screen shots.
