LIMITER.TIF for positive alt. process

I will be using the x800-x880-PiezoDN-Pos-Master.quad curve for my process. Per the manual I will be using the LIMITER.TIF PiezoDN target to create a limited.quad curve for my process.

Since I am using a positive process do I need to invert the LIMITER.TIF image in order to properly complete the limiting process per the manual (i.e. to create the Photoshop correction adjustment curve)?

The POS-Master curve will keep it a positive. No need to invert the tif file.
