Is this a banding issue and how do I solve it?

Hi

I’m wondering if I have some banding on an image due to the digital printing process. If it is, what should I do? Or is it a resolution issue? My previous prints have looked good.

This is an 800ppi image printed to digital negative on a 3880 using Pro inks then developed on Ilford FB Warmtone Matt, then sepia toned.

Very grateful for advice.

Looks a bit banded. I assume you did a nozzle check yes? Did you make sure your paper thickness was set to thin or normal as well?

Thanks, Walker. I’ve been so focused on the software side of things that I didn’t think of the obvious hardware stuff. Nozzel check, cleaning and topping up the inks - test print looks good!
