how to save CGATS spreadsheet to .txt file

I have completed the LAB copy and paste to the LAB spreadsheet is CGATS page. How do i save this as a .txt file to proceed? I did this in numbers.

  1. Open a new file in a text editor - TextEdit, TextWrangler, SublimeText, &c.
  2. Copy the CGATS data (A1:D137 - should already be selected)
  3. Paste into text file
  4. Save with meaningful name
