Howdy everyone! We are setting up a new SureColor p9000 and noticed it had older firmware on it out of the box. There was a new firmware release in July. Thought to ask how y’all handle the firmware updates, do you find them worthwhile, or any quality benefits keeping it updated? Thank you.
The new firmware will work with our existing chips but this release is only effecting how the printers work with Epson’s new generation of chips so it’s not going to really effect you either way.
