Dirty PF roller

Hi everybody,

Would anybody have a clever solution for cleaning the PF roller on an Epson 7890? I’m getting a few faint vertical scratches on Pictorico and I’ve isolated the problem to some dust/debris on the PF roller (behind the media rollers) - having eliminated platen pressure and other settings as being possible causes…

Epson used to make cleaning sheets but these aren’t made any more…

For those interested, I solved my problem by using a “platen cleaner” spray from Marrutt (here in the UK) which basically allows you to create your own cleaning sheets…

Debris is gone so no more scratches on the Pictorico film for PiezoDN!
