Colorport Software

Hi, everyone.

I’ve been using an I1 Pro and Colorport on an old Mac for years (it doesn’t work on newer Mac operating systems). Long story short - I have to reinstall Colorport and it appears that the software is no longer available on the x-rite website. Does someone have a DMG that they can send me? Or, is there an alternative piece of software that I can use with my I1 Pro? I really don’t want to have to buy another spectrocolorimeter.

Thanks.

Hi David,

Probably your i1 Pro is licensed to use iProfiler. Do you have it? It is supported…

You can probably download the software… the i1 spectro is the dongle… you should be able to use it to read and then save the data… even if it is not licensed to make ICC profiles…

best,

Thanks, Jon - I will try that.

Hi David

I have just uploaded the installer here:

Pls check whether it works. Otherwiese just let me know.

Markus - that’s brilliant - many thanks for this - much appreciated.

David

And just to say, Markus, the software works - thanks again.

Glad to hear - happy printing

Thanks for sharing this. I tried installing it on a machine running Big Sur, but while it installed fine it won’t run.

Do you know what is the newest OS that it will run on?

Or is there a version of ColorPort that will run on Big Sur?

I have no experience with BigSur. I only have this version, which was the last one.

What OS are you running it on?

I am not using it anymore since I am on Sonoma – and using i1Profiler. Just had it in my software archive

Ok thanks for sharing it anyway

FWIW, I’m fairly sure that Mojave (or possibly Catalina) was the last MacOS version that can run ColorPort since it is a 32-bit app. I still use it now and then on a 2012 iMac running Mojave.
