Color balance with new head

Hi Walker,

I just replaced a head on the Epson 9900. So far it seems to work great, but when I try to use the same blending options, I get a color cast. I have added the VLK cool and warm and I flushed the lines of any ink I have changed. I was wondering if you could tell from my profiles if the inks have been fully flushed?

Thanks,

Greg

I can’t really tell here but did you make sure your carts have been agitated regularly and/or before each printing session?

Hi Walker,

Thanks. I just installed all new inks and shook them before I put them in the cartridges. I do shake them each week.

Thanks,

Greg

Sometimes the dampers can get a drift of cyan that comes out all at once during a head/damper change . . . it should resolve though,.
