For the first time I tried to reset my maintenance cart on my Epson 3880. I removed the half empty cart and attached the resetter , a red light came on then turned white but not green. I entered a brand new cart and the printer showed it empty (full black). I then removed the new cart and entered the old cart which should have shown empty (full black) but it showed half full as it did before . Did I receive a malfunctioning resetter or is this normal ? Please help, Helmut
This simply indicates that the contact pins were not aligned properly on the maintenance tank during the reset. Try again.
