As suggested, I’m checking out my printer using the installed inkset. Nozzle check and ink pattern page for starters.
I’m on windows and I used QTRGUI to print using calibration mode. For this initial test, I printed on photocopy paper. I just wanted to see if something was wrong or not as the nozzle check routine (Epson tools) wasn’t quite right.
I immediately notice the magenta and yellow ink where the wrong color, others seem fine. I’d like to know if I’m in trouble? I bought the cleaning kit (not in yet) but maybe I should not waste it on this printer?
Here are the 6 colors I get, maybe this will give you an idea of what’s wrong.
Thanks,
