im looking for the K7 awagami curves for the 7600… i can only find them as quads int he 7800-7900 folders.
can i use these for 7600 k7?
how do i install them please…
Dear Christian. The awagami papers came out well after we stopped supporting the 7600 with new curves. Currently we do not have a 9600 in lab but I would not be apposed to making you a free curve provided you have the Ultra-HD-MK ink installed as this would then be useful to the rest of the community.
You would need to print the target attached to this post and send me the print and email me the curve you used to make the print.

ive only just managed to get the printer refurbished and working on all channels. im using the older K7 ink set im not sure if that is the Ultra HD MK or not. i will check. the printer came with quite a bit of ink but its all older piezo JC ink.

I will no be able to make this work with old ink sadly. But because you have PPE, you have the ability to profile your own curves as long as you have a spectrophotometer.

so the community edition is only for the new peizo pro inkset? with the only difference being the ULTRA HD MK?
also it doesnt look like ANY of th ecumminity edition curves are supported on the 7600… all i get are the old curves 2880 curves?
can anyone suggest which 2880 curve would be appropriate for aquarelle or water colour papers? as a starting point.
if i got my 7880 working that is supported by the new community edition profiles by the looks of it.
next step is looking at the curve creation tools i guess for the 7600-K7 old ink set.
