Another question on the QTR Create ICC app for softproofing

Hi

I’m struggling again the create an ICC for soft proofing using the basic QTR applet. The error I get after dropping the data file onto the app is:

The Lab values are not in order.
Cannot make a profile.


I have verified that all the L values are in decreasing order so I’m a bit confused

Is my process correct?:

  • printed 129 step i1pro v2 target using a newly linearised curve (left to cure/dry)

  • in i1 Profiler software, in Profiling, loaded workflow from Piezography Targets folder with same name as step chart printed

  • read chart (I used single line scan instead of spot mode)

  • saved scanned data as custom cgats file only including LAB data

  • dragged cgats file onto the create ICC app

You need to copy/paste the LAB columns into the error corrector and use those smoothed measurements to drag over QTR-Create-ICC-RGB for it to work.

Your error corrector (don’t worry, nobody else has access to yours).
