Another PiezoDN Linearization Question

The outcome of my first linearization attempt is a CGATS-out file that states “Invalid linearize curve – not constantly increasing”. Since there is a coherent out file I assume (always scary) that I did the process correctly. So the questions are:

  1. What does this error mean and how do I correct it, and

  2. Is there a list of the errors that come from the QTR linearization tool?

Attached is the CGATS-out file. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I am operating on an iMac 10.13.2, used a ColorMunki to read the print, and TextEdit, and Numbers to manipulate the numeric outcome.

CGATS-out.txt (11.5 KB)

Looking at your data it looks like you need to smooth it with the cgats smoother tool as described in the manual for PiezoDN. I assume this is PiezoDN calibration as you are posting in the PiezoDN forum. If this is a Piezography Professional Edition question, the smoother you need to use is the Error Corrector google sheet that was sent to you.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it is a PiezoDN linearization. My bad. I was using the wrong set of numbers from the smoother tool. Thanks for the help.
