Hey, got a client who wants to match what I suspect is an ABW print. we only have canon iPF8400 printers and Piezo Pro (running on a 9900), otherwise I’d prolly just run it ABW. I don’t know what printer their previous print shop used, but I’m finding it pretty hard to match the previous print, and I wanna try matching using the target measure tool in PPE2. Before I do all that, does anyone already have an ICC (or curve I guess?) that is matched to ABW matte (HPR, CanRag, whatever)?
It’s never gonna be perfect because I don’t have their exact printer to print patches on, but the blacks are very good, so it was almost certainly done on a P9000, probably with ABW…
