about Linearize

What is the difference between PIEZOGRAPHY ERROR CORRECTOR and 129 STEP_PIEZODN_CGATS_SMOOTHER?

Which is suitable for linearize?

The PiezoDN smoother is what you use for negatives. It corrects for more than just the light flicker of a spectrophotometer but also light falloff with your exposure as well as brush/coating variances from one part of the paper to another as well as ink amount differences from one side of the negative to another. So the PiezoDN smoother is key the whole operation for PiezoDN (digital negative) calibration.

On the other hand, the Piezography Error Corrector (which is a google drive spreadsheet) uses a totally different set of algorithms that we’ve used internally at IJM for correcting measurements. That is used for inkjet linearization (not negatives).

Thanks Walker,I I understood well.
