Hello, my plan is to use remapped curves to avoid wasting ink doing a MK/PK switch on a 9900 running Pro K4 inks. So I will put MK ink in the K channel and PK ink in the O channel, and use remapped curves. No problem. But it is suggested to periodically run a MK to PK switch to maintain the damper switch itself. I have seen conflicting advice as to whether to put flush or ink in the (unused) PK channel, which would get used during this maintenance switch? I’ve seen warnings, people saying that putting flush into the unused PK side of the damper switch is a bad idea. But that doesn’t really make sense to me. What is current advice please? Thanks
Keep PK in there as it may become useful if you develop an O issue.
