I printed a 21x16 step wedge negative using the PiezoDN-Master.quad on an Epson 3880 using K7 inks. I am wanting to create a quad to print collodion chloride and the print from this negative looks great. After scanning in the data using an i1 Pro v2 scanner, I copied the data into excel using Piezography Professional 2.1.1.xlsb. I pasted the data from Sublime Text for the PiezoDN-Master.quad into the starting curve tab. I then copied the scanned data from the 21x16 target from Sublime Text into the Measurements tab. When I went to the home tab everything looks wrong. Instead of there being 21 averaged measurements, it shows all the individual measurements with them all listing as False (all but 5). I am following the instructions in the video for linearizing piezography page on the website manual. Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong?
Hi!
I may be wrong but …
Just copy and paste the values in the Lab L column. Easier to do this if you open your measurements in a separate excel window — this way you can select just those cells. Then paste into the measurements sheet in PP.
For the archive if someone experiences something similar. I emailed Jon my worksheet and my scanned data. He plugged my data into a different worksheet and it worked perfectly. Most likely my Piezography Professional file got corrupted somehow. Thanks Jon.
