What surface should I place test charts on top of when taking readings?

Fantastically simple solution, thanks Walker. And no worries on the speed of reply, it was perfectly fast enough - I’m sure you have your hands full!

Might I be so forward as to suggest that a line is added about this to the PPE v2 manual in each of the “Measuring with…” sections? I have found the manual wonderfully clear overall, but for someone such as myself for whom using a colorometer is a new experience this I’m sure would be useful to know.

Another question - as again I cannot find any mention about it - when I calibrate the colormunki, should it be placed over the top of an unprinted portion of the paper I am linearising? Or does it perform its calibration internally? (the sensor does seem to retreate inside when the dial is turned to calibration mode)

Cheers,
Chris.
